8:00 a.m. - PQA Plus Initial Certification & Testing (Classroom)
This session is offered for producers wishing to receive initial (new) PQA+ certification, for those individuals who have let their PQA+ certification lapse, and anyone not comfortable using the online renewal process. This face-to-face certification session will be instructed by Amy Millmier Schmidt, Assistant Professor & Livestock Bioenvironmental Engineer at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
 
8:00-11:00 a.m. PQA Plus On-Line Recertification – (Computer Lab)
This session is offered for producers wishing to recertify their PQA+ certification. Your PQA+ certification must be current and in good standing.

The on-line certification computer lab will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Available space is on a first come basis and each individual can work at their own pace. Staff from UNL will be present to moderate the recertification session, assist with the computer process and answer any questions. The online certification process will take approximately 1 hour.  

Any currently certified PQA+ producer has to pre-register in order to take part in the on-line certification process. Your name as it appears on your PQA+ certification card and current PQA+ Certification Number listed on your card must be completed on the enclosed registration form or completed on the online NPPA Annual Meeting registration. Prior to February 20th, Amy Schmidt will take care of setting up online access for the registrants so they will have access to the National Pork Board Certification Center. Once your information has been made available for online access you will receive a confirmation e-mail. The online access will be good for 30 days beginning on February 20th.
